Purpose - The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government  (MHCLG) wrote to all Norfolk Leaders on 5 February 2025 inviting them to work with other council leaders in the area to develop a proposal for Local Government Reorganisation (LGR). This report sets out the work that has been undertaken to date and seeks Cabinet's views on the proposals inclusing taking into account the views expressed at the Council meeting on 18 March 2025 on the same subject, and seeks agreement for submission of the relevant reports to MHCLG by 21 March 2025.
