Purpose - This report is about a revision to the city council’s Statement of Community Involvement (SCI). The SCI is the council’s formal code of practice which describes how people can expect to be involved in the planning process, setting out the standards that will be used to consult people and organisations about planning applications and plan-making. Preparing a Statement of Community Involvement is a statutory requirement under the 2004 Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act.
